You will
  • Participate in decisions that affect hundreds of thousands of users in institutions such as libraries and schools
  • Testing new features and the consistency of the app (e.g. device tests, unit tests and instrumented tests)
  • Write robust code that can be found in a large ecosystem and is secured by appropriate meaningful tests
  • Implementing new features, setting up new products and solving existing problems
  • Spend time implementing things correctly and not "quickly" getting things up and running
  • Collaborate daily with the entire team (Android, iOS, web, backend, ingest and support) in an agile way using tools such as GitLab, Slack, Jira and Zoom
You bring
  • Enrollment/matriculation in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in computer science, business informatics or comparable degree programs with
  • Good communication skills and appreciates team cohesion
  • A high affinity and enthusiasm for Android with
  • A good understanding of Java, Kotlin, Android Studio and the Android SDK
  • Initial experience with the various Android versions from Android 5 (SDK 21) with
  • Enjoy designing components with a clear and simple API
  • A pragmatic approach to problem solving with
  • German and English language skills at an everyday level with
