Job description

In this role, you will assume functional responsibility for SAP BW/4HANA: from data modelling and ETL processes to the further development of the reporting landscape – in close coordination with controlling and business departments.

What you can expect from us

The Central Applications team is responsible for the operation and further development of BwBM's central business applications – including SAP BW/4HANA as the core system for reporting and corporate management. The team currently comprises six employees, including the team lead, and is being systematically expanded.

Your tasks include

  • Central IT contact person for all questions relating to SAP BW/4HANA – for business departments, project teams and external service providers
  • Development and maintenance of bespoke data models and reports to support controlling and corporate management
  • Optimisation of reporting functionalities: from KPI definition together with the business departments to dashboard implementation
  • Responsibility for data extraction, transformation and loading processes (ETL)
  • Ensuring data integrity and quality through the establishment and monitoring of corresponding policies
  • Knowledge building and transfer within the team and towards the business departments

What you bring with you

  • Several years of professional experience in the SAP BW/4HANA environment – in product management, project management or a comparable IT role
  • Sound knowledge of ABAP development as well as implementation and customising within SAP BW
  • Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum) is an advantage
  • Fluent written and spoken German (C2)
