Job description

– As a firewall administrator, you will take on advisory duties in the field of network security and independently handle the customer requirements of our internal business units in the firewall environment
– You are responsible for the further development and operation of our existing enterprise firewall architecture
– Furthermore, you are responsible for planning and implementing exciting projects, such as the automation of firewalls and increasing the visibility of network anomalies
– With your expertise, you actively support third-level support with error analyses and independently process customer tickets

What you bring with you

– A degree in computer science, cyber security, IT security or similar is desirable, but not mandatory
– You bring at least two years of relevant professional experience
– You have already worked in the enterprise firewall environment (Fortinet, Checkpoint or Palo Alto) and in project management
– In addition, you already bring practical experience in networking technologies
– You can translate IT security issues into pragmatic solutions and impress through systematic, conceptual thinking
– Ability to work independently as well as a enjoyment of teamwork
– A strong interest in learning and evaluating new things
