What you can expect from us

As a Business Consultant for the energy industry (m/f/d), you will develop innovative solutions with our clients for the challenges of digital transformation. Your focus will be on analysing, adapting, and further developing existing business processes within strategic and organisational frameworks. You will take responsibility in our client projects and actively contribute your ideas.

Work will be carried out at one of our four locations, at clients' premises or from home – proximity of your residence to a location is not a requirement. 

Your tasks include

  • Advising our clients on the development of innovative business models and digital strategies in the energy industry
  • Supporting our clients in the analysis and reorganisation of existing business processes
  • Taking on responsibility within our company structure or as a (partial) project manager on our client projects – depending on experience level
  • Continuous professional development on current development topics in the energy sector and knowledge transfer with your colleagues
  • Support for the care of our client base and acquisition of new projects

What you bring with you

  • A completed degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification, potentially also several years of experience in consulting and project environments
  • Interest in the energy market, ideally with project experience in the energy industry.
  • Knowledge of energy trading and portfolio management, ETRM, energy sales/CRM, billing, customer service, energy data management, grid economics, asset management, workforce management, conventional and renewable generation, or virtual power plants
  • Team orientation, independent working style, and motivation for further training
  • Knowledge of digital business processes and standard software
  • Experience in project work and IT consulting
  • Conceptual and analytical skills
  • Very good German and good English skills
