Job description

As an LLM Engineer, you understand the potential of AI, and in particular LLMs. You follow current developments and apply this knowledge to solve real-world problems for a wide range of industries, projects, and products.

Your tasks include

Development: You develop (automation) solutions in small, self-managing teams through the combination of LLMs and software engineering.
LLM Optimisation: You optimise LLMs through finetuning, prompting and RAG
Agent-based workflows: You develop agent-based LLM workflows
Coding Assistants: You develop, test, and document with intensive use of LLM-based coding assistants
End-to-End: You are involved in the development from conception to commissioning.
LLM-Security: You actively pursue new attack vectors against LLMs and develop measures that stay one step ahead of them

What you bring with you

You have a very good Master's degree in Computer Science or a comparable background.
You have comprehensive and always up-to-date knowledge in the field of LLMs, are familiar with current models, benchmarks and frameworks.
You have a deep technical understanding of the Transformer architecture
You have experience with RAG, prompting, hosting, and fine-tuning LLMs.
You have excellent programming skills, you live by best practices, and you have already successfully implemented software projects.
You're getting the most out of LLM-based coding assistants: parallel sessions, MCP tools, Agent.md, workflow automation – and you're constantly looking for ways to be even more productive.
You enjoy working in a team and can communicate effectively with people from different professions (technical and non-technical).
You have very good German language skills.
You have a strong sense of responsibility and recognise risks early on.
Your motivation and self-discipline enable you to achieve a high standard of quality, deliver results on time, and motivate other team members.
You are using modern tools, including AI, to work more efficiently.
