As an IT System Engineer* with a focus on our middleware and cloud technologies at X-INTEGRATE, as part of a team of software infrastructure and cloud experts, you will ensure the provision of modern software solutions as the basis for the realisation of our customers' projects. This involves not only the initial conception and realisation, but above all the continuous support and further development of the platforms.

The interesting mix of project activities and operational business provides the ideal basis for further technological and methodological training and applying the knowledge in daily practice. We work in an interdisciplinary and agile manner and are always looking for the optimum solution for our customers.

Job description

Your tasks include

You develop and support integration and process automation platforms in complex and hybrid enterprise environments of our customers
You will support the entire solution cycle in exciting projects, from the design of the solution architecture, through the construction and configuration of the components, to the operation of the solution
For you, commissioning is just the starting point for continuous operational support and constant optimisation
The constant exchange with our agile and cross-functional development teams and, of course, the clients is an essential part of your work
Depending on customer requirements, you use leading technology stacks (e.g. Kubernetes, elastic, redis) and various cloud hyperscalers (e.g. OpenShift, AWS, Azure)
Against the background of operational requirements, you will also deal with the classic ITIL disciplines for incident, service request, problem and change management

What you bring with you

You have a degree (computer science or natural sciences) or training as an IT specialist in system integration
Your sound experience in the administration of common operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows) and ideally knowledge of the mainframe environment
You are experienced in scripting with PowerShell, Python or Shell, for example
If you have experience in the areas of release management, build and release pipelines and artifact management, you can also contribute and further develop this with us
Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructures (e.g. Azure or AWS) round off your profile
Your good communication skills and enjoyment of working in a team
