It was a very exciting trade fair. On the one hand, the selection of exhibitors was excellent, and on the other, there were also innovations and technical features that you could test on site. I particularly liked the fact that there was so much on offer at this trade fair despite the free admission.
This was my second ITCS and it was just as good this year as last. It was a great fair and it was a lot of fun to talk to the exhibitors and get an insight into the industry.

I was invited to many events and would like to pay a big compliment to the organisation team. The communication and organisation on site was simply first class. The presentations and the exhibitors were excellent. Keep up the good work! I am already looking forward to the ITCS in Cologne and Frankfurt.
It was very informative and well organised from the prespective of a student.
The other conferences on the market simply can't keep up with ITCS. I even took the day off work.
The fair was great for connecting with IT companies and I found myself a working student offer at one of the companies.
I was also able to experience Morpheus live, which was great!
The ITASHA cars were also very cool, gladly again!

It was a very motivating event for me. As a computer science student, I found the topics very interesting and it was a great opportunity to make contacts with many companies. I got so much information about the "working life" and met great people. As last year, there was a large selection of companies and a good opportunity to get to know companies better.
It was very exciting in itself. The presentations were not too long but not too short either. You definitely made some interesting acquaintances. There were also lots of games that you could play, such as Nintendo Switch or table football etc.
Interesting range of information about career choices. The goodies were great 🙂

The overall organisation was quite good and you had a good feeling at check-in, which was also manifested throughout.
Cool location, lots of touchpoints, lots of information here and there and it wasn't really boring. The variety of exhibitors was quite good at first glance, the main topics were recognisable and the media lab / editorial office was an eye-catcher. From time to time, I had the feeling that there weren't really the right contacts at the stands and that many questions remained unanswered, especially with regard to green IT, sustainability and the resilience / innovative strength of companies.
and yes, there was also a real downside: you could only pay "cash" for the coffee and drinks service.
is like an analogue fallback that you weren't really prepared for.
I would like to see the following for the next time:
a) more crisp pulse presentations
b) more sustainability
c) digial experience throughout

I was there for the first time this year. It was super exciting and you got to meet lots of people and companies and make contacts.
What I would improve a little would be if the fair were extended to another level of the Darmstatium, then the crowd would disperse a little and it would be a little quieter, making it easier to talk to people.
Apart from that there is nothing to complain about, everything is great 👍🏻
I found it quite useful. However, if you include more lectures in English for your next events, it will attract a lot of international students.
It was great to be a part of ITCS Darmstadt. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The thing which fascinated was the multidisciplinary environment over there and I was able to get to know about how the German market is running and what they are looking for. Despite of the crowd, I was able to know what the market is expecting from an applicant. This thing has motivated me a lot in making myself sufficient enough to land in this market.

But otherwise, from my very own point of view, it's a great example of why there isn't so much new blood in IT.
Many regional and national companies present themselves with a stand consisting of a back wall with the company name, possibly 1-2 generic stock photos and the training occupations.
Ballpoint pens, sticky notes, parking discs, key rings and so on are available.
Some offer a drink with a coffee machine.
As good as the marketing advertised the ITCS, the companies were just as bad at presenting it.
Maybe I'm just different, but I would have expected eye-catchers and hardware if I were a manufacturer of GBic modules, for example, or if I were building my own firewalls like Airbus.
It's a shame, but at least we gained some experience
It was a good day where many IT experts from different areas came together and exchanged information. I'm already looking forward to the next event!
The "ITCS Darmstadt 2024" was a fascinating trade fair with great insights into modern IT. The presentations on a wide range of topics were extremely interesting and offered something for both beginners and advanced users. My personal highlights were the presentations on Artificial Intelligence (ChatGPT), IT Infrastructure Frankfurt Airport & Leading by managing yourself (Audi). I was able to learn a lot and develop further in various areas. I would also like to thank the moderators and the technical team at the trade fair, whose commitment made this experience possible in the first place.
Totally cool and informative event! Unfortunately, some topics were only addressed superficially, which is completely understandable given the size of the trade fair. I can really only recommend it to everyone!
