About the role
As a Global Technical Operations Analyst (m/f/d), you will be at the forefront of our security operations worldwide. You will be jointly responsible for ensuring that our global sensor technology, data collection and processing function without errors. You will also work with our R&D department to resolve internal product errors.
Your role as a Global Technical Operations Analyst (m/f/d) is to provide expert, professional and competent analysis and troubleshooting of our components used worldwide.
Tasks:
You are responsible for analysing and eliminating errors in connection with:
Network Detection and Response Components
IT security solution for endpoints
Cloud integrations
Risk Scanner
You will work closely with customers and internal teams.
Furthermore, you will support the design and implementation of our security solution for customers and help various teams with all questions regarding our backend of the Arctic Wolf Security solution.
Other tasks include:
Triage of customer enquiries, application of playbook-driven solutions, documentation of any new problems identified during the troubleshooting process through to resolution
Strong communication and interaction skills with a variety of different people and characters. Effective handling of problems identified by customers and their resolution is essential for success in this role
Understanding the processes and systems used by Arctic Wolf is essential for assisting customers with support requests
Required skills and experience:
BSc/university degree in an IT discipline OR IT specialist with at least 3 years' experience in the IT sector
Good basic knowledge on the subject of networks
Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and Active Directory
German or English language skills at level C1
Desirable skills
CCNA, Network+ or equivalent
Good understanding of DHCP, DNS and VLANs
Experience of working in a network operations centre
Basic knowledge of PowerShell, Bash or other scripting languages
These additional skills and experience are also an advantage:
Knowledge of network routing and switching
Experience in virtual environments with VMware or Hyper-V
Firewalls and IDS/IPS
Operating systems Linux, Windows, Mac
Windows and Active Directory
Network and security audits
Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure
MCSE or Active Directory MCP certification an advantage
Implementation tools such as GPO, SCCM, Intune or Jamf
Security+
