Job description

As AI Architect (m/f/d) You will play a key role in shaping the future of AI usage at Star Finanz. Together with the "AI" team, you will develop strategic technical visions, evaluate new technologies, and support our teams in implementing innovative AI solutions. 

What you can expect from us

Your goal is to establish a powerful, secure, and scalable AI landscape and to ensure its sustainable integration into the existing IT landscape.

Your tasks include

Technical tasks:

  • Conceptualisation of scalable AI and application architectures based on modern LLMs and multimodal models
  • Architecture of RAG, search and agent systems including standardised tool and context integration
  • Evaluation and integration of commercial AI services and open-source models
  • Integration of AI components into existing application and system landscapes
  • API, Cloud and Container Architectures
    Definition of architectural standards, reference architectures and best practices for AI solutions

Communication & Consultancy

  • Conducting workshops and architectural consultations
  • Technical support for specialist departments and development teams
    Translating business requirements into technical solution architectures
  • Moderation of technical decision-making processes and alignment with relevant stakeholders

What you bring with you

  • Completed STEM degree or equivalent qualification
    Relevant professional experience > 5 years
  • The ability to pragmatically assess technological developments and translate them into added value for the company.
  • In-depth understanding of building complex RAG infrastructures, semantic search and deployment of vector databases, as well as the development of autonomous agent systems.
  • Knowledge/understanding of the following DevOps topics: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)
  • Automation and Scripting
  • Strong communication and advisory skills
  • Analytical and structured thinking ability
  • High level of personal initiative and willingness to learn
