The position is advertised nationwide within the Assurance, Audit and Finance sectors, with opportunities for employment in locations including Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Eschborn, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, and others.

The focus is on starting a career in Assurance, Audit, Finance and Data Analytics at EY.

24 months. Several stations. One goal:
Build a foundation in Assurance, Audit, and Finance that makes you successful in the long term.
Your first placement is within one of our Assurance departments, giving you a 360° view of businesses – from their processes to their risks and decisions.

Not just understanding how things work, but also recognising where things become critical.
The principle here is: you won't simply be deployed, but strategically developed – with a clear structure, defined milestones, and continuous feedback.

What you can expect from us

What awaits you

During your Explorer Journey, you'll work on real-world challenges and gain insights into different areas of Assurance:

Contributing to accounting, finance and transaction topics (e.g. financial reporting and audit)
Participation in auditing with the examination of annual and consolidated financial statements (audit according to HGB/IFRS)
Analysis of Technology, Data, and Cyber Risks (IT Audit, Data Analytics, Cyber Security)
Work on sustainability topics and ESG reporting
Support for the investigation and prevention of economic crime (Forensic & Compliance)

With each station, you sharpen your profile.
After 24 months, you bring together experience and strengths and decide where you want to take on responsibility in the long term.
