Up to 170,000 productive jobs are processed daily on the mainframe in the DATEV data centre.

Our team monitors these processes around the clock and ensures that they run smoothly.

We provide first-level support, react immediately if errors occur in the processes and rectify them - even before our customers notice.

Your tasks include

  • Ensuring the operability, availability and up-to-dateness of batch processing on the mainframe
  • Clarifying and rectifying errors in the processes, taking into account availability and cost-effectiveness
  • Support in setting up a multi-platform scheduling system
  • Support for automation projects in the mainframe operating environment

What you bring with you

  • Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or completed university studies in the field of computer science
  • Ideally knowledge of the z/OS environment (CICS, Job Control Language, MQ, DB2, etc.) or with scheduling systems (IBM, Stonebranch, etc.)
    Initial knowledge of automation (Ansible, Jenkins, or similar)
  • High level of analytical skills combined with a strong customer and solution orientation
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to work in 2 or 3 shifts or on-call duty
