Engineer IT Project Management Applications (m/f/d)

You will support highly available IT applications for system management and the associated technical interfaces in the Amprion system landscape. You will support the implementation of technical and operational requirements. You will ensure that the implementation complies with the IT technical requirements, feasibility and security restrictions.

You will support highly available IT applications for system management and the associated technical interfaces in the Amprion system landscape. You will support the implementation of technical and operational requirements. You will ensure that the implementation complies with the IT technical requirements, feasibility and security restrictions.   

 

Your tasks include

Depending on your aptitude and project, your tasks may include the following focal points:

  • Management, coordination and implementation of IT projects, taking into account quality, time and costs
  • Responsibility for the secure and reliable operation of your IT applications over their entire life cycle
  • Taking on the interface function for cross-departmental internal communication and with external partners
  • Analysing and further developing the IT product portfolio
  • Evaluation of requirements for the introduction or modification of services, applications and projects
  • Support for 24/7 on-call service for fault clearance in a few weeks a year 
     

What you bring with you

  • Successfully completed (specialised) university degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, computer science or industrial engineering 
  • Knowledge of IT and application management as well as interest in the technical topics of system management
  • Strong understanding of technology - ideally knowledge of the tasks of a transmission system operator 
  • Communication and teamwork skills as well as a high degree of personal responsibility 
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business trips within Germany and to other European countries 
  • Good English language skills (desirable)
