As an Architect (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the design and further development of our software architecture for mobile applications on iOS and Android. You will consistently rely on modern technologies such as Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform. You will develop scalable platform and reusable components that make other teams more productive, take responsibility for technical decisions, and ensure high software quality. Through active exchange with development, product, and UX, you will contribute your knowledge and ensure sustainable, future-proof solutions.

Your tasks include

  • Together with other architects, you will continuously develop our app platform based on Kotlin Multiplatform. 
  • You support product teams building on our platform through consultation, documentation, and technical support.
  • With Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform, you'll build modern, intuitive UI and platform components. 
  • You contribute your own ideas and develop innovative technical concepts in close collaboration with Product Owners and UX. 
  • You are involved in defining technical requirements – for example, for platform components, automated tests, and build processes – always keeping the overall strategy in mind. 
  • You support with effort estimations and technical planning. 

What you bring with you

  • A completed degree in a STEM field or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
  • Several years of experience in software architecture/development for mobile applications, ideally with a focus on cross-platform technologies. 
  • Very good knowledge of Kotlin, ideally complemented by experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform.
  • Sound practical experience with common tools and methods such as Android Studio, IntelliJ, Jira/Confluence, Dependency Injection, Unit Testing, and test automation. 
  • Enjoy sharing knowledge and actively establishing best practices for software quality within the team. 
  • Experience with agile working methods such as Scrum or Kanban, as well as a team-oriented working style based on equality.
    Strong analytical skills, technical understanding, and a high capacity for learning.
