Our IT department, comprising approximately 300 employees, largely operates with an agile Scrumban approach, covering areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, operations, process and governance, software development, and architecture. We are particularly proud to develop almost all of our applications in-house, which lends us unique flexibility and innovative strength. Our tech stack includes modern technologies like Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, and Python, CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, as well as Azure Cloud, Azure SQL Database, and Oracle Database with PL/SQL.
Berenberg was founded in 1590 and today is one of Europe's leading private banks with over 1,500 employees in the Wealth Management, Asset Management, Investment Banking and Corporate Banking divisions. We attach particular importance to our high-performance IT systems, which we develop predominantly in-house. More than 250 IT colleagues work on the further development of our IT landscape with great commitment and a high level of expertise in an agile way.
