As a Portfolio Manager (f/m/d) you will be responsible for managing and optimising the portfolio of products and services at Bechtle Systemhaus Bonn. This position requires a comprehensive knowledge of current IT technologies, project management skills and the ability to develop and implement technology and product strategies to achieve our business goals.

You will be responsible for monitoring the overall portfolio and product development in-house and ensuring that product developments are completed on time and within budget.
As part of your role, you will develop clear guidelines and processes for the inclusion and selection of new product ideas in the portfolio and be responsible for their implementation.
You will also identify potential risks in products, services and the portfolio and develop strategies to minimise risks. This may include identifying bottlenecks, planning backups or monitoring security aspects.
In order to make a significant contribution to the success of our portfolio, you will define key figures for the evaluation of product and portfolio success (quality, earnings, potential) and continuously develop these further.
Of course, the need for your expertise doesn't stop there. You regularly communicate with internal and external stakeholders to convey the progress of products and services. You also explain technical concepts and decisions in an understandable way at management level.
 

Your skills? More than interesting: 
 

Completed technical training or studies in computer science, engineering, economics or a related technical field 
Many years of professional experience in the field of product or portfolio management
We particularly like your experience in organising and moderating committees and decision-making processes coupled with a comprehensive understanding of business goals and requirements.
You have knowledge of the IT market and current technology trends
In addition, you are characterised by strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and presentation skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
