Job description

As a Senior Java Developer | Backend (m/f/d), you will work on our exciting products and projects and take responsibility for quality analysis.

Your tasks include

Further development and new development of Java backend applications related to confidential and secure communication within administration.
Further development of web services
Consideration of requirements-compliant, modular architectures
Third-party library maintenance
Active involvement in requirements management and conception.
Co-responsibility for processes and strategies to maintain high product and code quality

What you bring with you

Completed degree e.g. in computer science, completed vocational training e.g. as an IT specialist (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in Java software development
Extensive knowledge in the areas of Clean Code, test automation, and software craftsmanship.
extensive knowledge of Java and Spring/Spring Boot
Good knowledge of technologies such as SOAP, REST, Maven, Docker and Gitlab
Knowledge of relational databases and ideally NoSQL databases
Experience with agile software development methods such as Scrum or pair programming is desirable
High degree of personal initiative
Good German language skills, both spoken and written
