With around 88,000 volunteers, the THW as an agency within the portfolio of the Federal Ministry of the Interior is arguably unique. A strong IT infrastructure is particularly important for the THW as an emergency response organisation to ensure that all systems run securely even during operations.
Among our approximately 2,200 employees nationwide, there are also IT staff, including those from the following fields: cyber security, network and security infrastructure, digital radio, and server and system administration.
