As a System Engineer (m/f/d), you are the technical consultant for sales and our customers and the "brain" when it comes to IT solutions. You are the boss in the server room, with your hand on the sheet metal you implement and install our solutions at the customer's site.

Your tasks include

  • You develop technical solution concepts for our customers and implement and configure them
  • With us, you can live out the "IT kid" in you. You install test solutions in our lab environment and use them to check the systems
  • You will be involved in the development of new AU technologies and provide cross-divisional and cross-departmental support for internal projects
  • By taking part in manufacturer events and trade fairs, you will continuously educate yourself and build trusting relationships with customers, partners and suppliers
  • You create and maintain the necessary documentation according to the solutions
  • For a change, you will also be the contact person for customer problems and questions in 1st level and partly also in 2nd level support on a rotational basis

What you bring with you

  • You have successfully completed an apprenticeship or degree in the IT sector
  • You have good knowledge of Windows and ideally also Linux operating systems
  • Preferably you have knowledge of NetApp storage systems and experience with backup solutions from Veeam or Commvault, as well as virtualisation solutions
  • You are a real team player, a doer and are absolutely customer and service orientated
  • You are characterised by an independent, reliable, structured way of working and strong problem-solving skills
  • Your comprehension skills are very good and you are authentic. You are characterised by a friendly and confident manner
  • You have very good German and good English skills
