Job description

You play a central role in the design and continuous optimisation of our infrastructure architectures. Working closely with the specialist departments, you will ensure that our network technologies and cloud connections function reliably and are future-proof at all times.

Your tasks include

Develop infrastructure solution architectures: You will develop solutions in the area of connectivity that take into account the necessary IT security standards.
Create system designs: You will develop robust and secure system designs for IT service management and contact centre management.
Develop network architectures: You will be responsible for the architecture of the network technologies for our locations (Germany and Europe) as well as the connections between the ADAC data centres (on-premises, private cloud, public cloud in Azure).
Define strategic standards: You define the strategic standards for our infrastructure and create roadmaps for the transformation to modern platforms.
Plan and implement lifecycle projects: You plan and design technical lifecycle projects, work closely with your colleagues on implementation and test technologies for synergy effects, optimisation potential and savings opportunities.
Advising transition and large-scale projects on infrastructure topics: You support the transition and large-scale projects in the implementation of the jointly developed solution architectures - from the requirements analysis to the handover of operations.
Advise on technology trends and innovations: You support internal IT and specialist departments with your expertise on current technology trends and innovations.

What you bring with you

Training or studies: You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or a comparable degree programme.
Experience in IT architecture: You have already worked as an IT architect for several years and have extensive experience in the areas of network technologies, WAN connections and cloud architectures in Azure.
Knowledge of frameworks: You are familiar with TOGAF and ITIL and have already successfully applied frameworks in your work.
Openness to innovation and change: You follow technological trends to develop modern solutions and have a strong interest in the cloud.
Analytical skills: You are able to analyse complex technical challenges and develop innovative solution architectures.
Strong communication and teamwork skills: You enjoy working with different teams and specialist departments and can communicate your ideas and solutions clearly and comprehensibly.
Personal initiative and responsibility: You have a high degree of personal initiative and a sense of responsibility and drive projects forward independently and reliably.
Language skills: You are fluent in German and can communicate confidently in English.
