Triage Cyber Security Analyst (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking to strengthen our first-class Security Operations Centre team, with which we protect our national and international customers against cyber attacks on a daily basis. With us, there are no dull, boring security incidents or compliance violations that you have to investigate. We take care of the challenging incidents and we have the power, the know-how, the people, the training and the complete tool and SOC technology stack to do just that...

Your tasks

As a Cyber Analyst, you will combat cyber security attacks at our customers' premises
You analyse log data with our SOC analytics tools
You think like a potential attacker and search our customers' entire IT landscape for their traces
This includes the unerring operation of the analysis tools (sandboxes, threat intelligence, EDR, NAD, big data analytics with ML, IoC scanner and much more) in our SOC
Attackers that are detected are tracked and analysed by you and then permanently removed after you have identified the target of the attack, the attacker's approach and the intrusion paths
You will recognise and permanently close gateways for attackers into our customers' IT landscape
 

Your profile

You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science and a strong understanding of IT security or at least two years of professional experience in the field of IT security
Very good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems as well as network security and the TCP/IP stack
Experience in log analysis, pentesting or IT forensics
Programming skills
An independent way of working and an engaging demeanour
Confident manner in German and English
Enjoy learning something new about cyber security every day
Very good English and good German language skills
