Job description

As a central securities depository (CSD) headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Clearstream Europe AG operates the post-trade business - i.e., the issuance, settlement, and custody - for German securities.

As an intern in Post-Trade IT Project Management, you will support the Post Trade IT Operations & Governance department in implementing a project in a regulatory environment related to ICT Security Management.

Your tasks include

  • You will participate in an interesting and multifaceted project at the intersection of IT, information security, and the relevant legal requirements
  • You will help ensuring effectiveness of ICT Risk Management related processes, e.g. by conducting pre-defined reviews of our IT Asset Inventory for completeness and correctness. You will follow up with the responsible persons to fix detected issues
  • Furthermore, you will support the team by preparing project reports, KPI reviews, and other ICT Risk Management, or IT Governance related tasks
  • In addition, you will gain insights in the planning and controlling of our IT budget 

What you bring with you

  • You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least two semesters
    (Study focus on the field of informatics, mathematics, physics, economics, business studies, humanities or other relevant fields)
  • Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the context of project management, information technologies, or information security (e.g. experience abroad, internships) / in the financial area
  • You are interested in project management, IT Governance topics, and ICT Risk Management
  • Thanks to your cooperative nature, you quickly integrate into the team. Your good and friendly communication helps you interact effectively with project staff and stakeholders. Your strong organisational skills make your work easier. Through focused and meticulous work, you achieve good results
  • You are confident in using MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • You have fluent German and very good English skills, both spoken and written
