For our Hybrid Cloud Platform service field in the Hybrid Cloud Services tribe, we are looking for you as a full-time Platform Engineer Private Cloud (m/f/d) in Aschheim, Karlsruhe or Münster.

Your tasks include

You coordinate and agree the content of the programme increments for the private cloud.
With empathy and team spirit, you will find solutions that advance platform teams and developers alike and work closely with developer platforms, tribes and governance teams.
You operate and further develop our private cloud platform (critical, highly available services).
You implement infrastructure automation, e.g. with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform and Ansible and define standards, blueprints and best practices in the area of Automation Excellence & Governance.
You integrate new products and services into the platform architecture, help shape the roadmap and coordinate requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
You ensure end-to-end self-service for platform products (onboarding, deployment, Day2 operation, cost models).

What you bring with you

You have a degree in computer science and many years of relevant professional experience or a comparable qualification as well as experience in the management of interdisciplinary (sub-)projects.
You have experience in the operation and automation of private cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
In addition to in-depth knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift) and Linux/Unix systems, you also have expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform Enterprise, Ansible) and CI/CD processes.
You have an understanding of automation governance and the establishment of best practices 
You also have experience in dealing with critical infrastructures, security requirements and high availability.
You are business fluent in German (at least C1 level) and have a good command of English (B2 level).
Your strong communication skills, team-orientation and ability to act as an interface between technology, governance and stakeholders round off your profile.
