As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and validation of innovative hardware solutions. You will contribute to the full product lifecycle from concept and architecture to testing, certification, and production support.

Your tasks include

  • Development of analogue and digital circuits taking into account EMC&EMI (CE, FCC, IC, CE, RED)
  • Verification and testing of optical and electrical applications of products
  • Participation in the creation of the hardware architecture: defining the concept and specifications
  • Supporting the lifecycle of product manufacturing including documentation
  • Research and development including laboratory work and prototyping
  • Taking responsibility on international certification (EMC, battery, product safety: UL/CSA/ETL)

What you bring with you

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
    Ideally several years of experience
  • Experience in the area of ​​high-speed design, power and signal integrity and EMC-compliant design
  • Familiarity in the field of micro-controllers
  • Expertise in the area of ​​serial interfaces and buses (USB, SPI, UART, I²C…)
  • Dealing with modern circuit design and simulation tools (eg, Altium Designer)
  • Familiarity with power supply circuits and battery-powered devices
    Basic programming skills and/or mechanical 3D design skills are a plus
  • Independent way of working, high decision-making ability, problem-solving skills and teamwork
  • Excellent communication skills in English and able to clearly articulate your ideas, designs and suggestions, additional German skills are an asset
