Pro Exzellenzia plus*

Pro Exzellenzia plus was launched in 2010 on the initiative of the equal opportunities officers of Hamburg's seven universities and the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. A lot has happened since then. Well over 100 highly qualified women have been supported by Pro Exzellenzia plus with a doctoral or post-doctoral fellowship and tens of thousands of female Hamburg university graduates, role models and ambassadors have taken part in the diverse qualification programmes on leadership and careers. The large number of successful examples show that the project is starting with the right measures. The offer is never static, but is constantly being expanded and adapted to the needs of the labour market and the target groups.
