What you can expect from us

Do you want to work with us to analyse and evaluate our customers' business processes and IT systems? Then apply as an Associate (f/m/d) in the IT Audit department:

Your tasks include

  • As the interface between IT and business, you will work with your team to understand our clients' business processes and IT systems and assess their risks. This involves developing optimisation potential to reduce risks.
  • With your work, you will lay one of the foundations of the control- and data-driven annual audit, which requires a high sense of responsibility. By working in the ESG environment, you will also make a contribution with social relevance right from the start.
  • In addition to analysing complex processes, you will also examine accounting-relevant transaction flows through our clients' application landscape and support our team in developing an understanding of the process.
  • The preparation of data from the area of accounting and GRC (Governance, Risk, Controls) will also be part of your future area of responsibility, as will collaboration in the further development of KPMG's digital audit approach.   

What you bring with you

  • You have a degree in economics, computer science or business informatics, industrial engineering or natural sciences.
  • Our work is a "people business", so you have strong rhetorical skills and enjoy building relationships with other people.
  • You are able to organise yourself independently and also in the home office, but are also willing to travel occasionally in order to be able to check and advise our customers on site.
  • At best, you have a basic knowledge of IT process topics such as access and change management, administration and monitoring OR knowledge of external and internal accounting.
  • You are prepared to familiarise yourself with the other part "on the job".
  • You are familiar with current digitalisation and technology trends and have a corresponding interest. 
  • You speak German at level C1 and English at B2.
