As part of our cross-site team do you work on the availability and reliability of a highly critical IT infrastructure, which makes a significant contribution to the safe management of air traffic.

Together with experienced computer scientists* and engineers*, you shape the Further development of modern data centre platforms and cloud services and contribute your ideas to challenging technical issues. Your tasks include

  • You are responsible for complex service architectures throughout the entire lifecycle and continuously develop their design, requirements and documentation.
  • You develop and implement complex changes to service architectures and technical designs autonomously
  • You build platforms and services, further develop them, automate processes and ensure stable operation
  • You actively contribute your expertise to the further development of our data centre platforms and cloud services
  • You advise users on the use of services and support them in the development of their applications

What you bring with you

  • You have a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
  • You have expert knowledge in the administration of Linux or Windows operating systems, are proficient in common automation tools such as Ansible, and bring know-how in a programming language, e.g. Python, as well as in setting up CI/CD pipelines
  • You have experience in operating a data centre platform or cloud services, for example proxy, DNS, VPN, identity and access management, monitoring, Microsoft services or backup solutions, as well as experience with container, orchestration and cloud solutions, e.g. Kubernetes
  • You stand out through your sense of responsibility and willingness to take on challenges within a critical infrastructure
  • You have business-fluent German language skills and good English language skills
  • You are medically qualified, available for on-call duty and hold a category B driving licence
  • You agree to take part in a security check
