Job description

Welcome to KfW! As one of the world's leading promotional banks, we stand for the sustainable transformation of the environment, society and companies. As a driving force, we are actively involved in the issues that will shape the world of tomorrow. We promote wind farms, infrastructure projects, schools and hospitals, thereby shaping the future. With us, you will find a trusting working environment in which team spirit, diversity and inclusion are lived. We support you, your ideas and your commitment to projects that make the world a better place. You will find exciting IT tasks with us, because we are shaping the digital transformation using agile methods, modern infrastructure and innovative technologies.

What you can expect from us

You will primarily be responsible for the administration and further development of the PKI systems, including support for the associated interfaces. You will also advise customers on connecting their systems to the PKI.
You will be responsible for designing overarching IT processes, system architecture, tools and methods, focussing on the provision and further development of a secure Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
You will support the development of and compliance with specifications for the secure operation of the cryptographic infrastructure. You will take appropriate measures to ensure the decentralised adaptation of the service, system and application architectures to be used.
You will contribute to process optimisation in system development and operation and develop concepts for a standardised, secure and scalable PKI in coordination with the product managers.
You will contribute to quality assurance by evaluating architectures in terms of security, risk and compliance as well as operational stability. You will develop a strategic roadmap for certificate and encryption technologies with the help of a bank-specific development plan.
As part of (partial) project management tasks, you will take on activities for the expansion and continuous modernisation of the cryptographic IT infrastructure for the entire bank.

What you bring with you

A university degree (Bachelor) in the field of IT and telecommunications is desirable. Alternatively, you have several years of relevant professional experience in the field in question.
Your advanced knowledge in the administration and management of IT infrastructures (preferably Linux and Windows servers), as well as in the practical application of certificate management, cryptography and encryption is of great importance. Basic knowledge of IT strategy and process design as well as a reference to IT processes and ITILv4 are desirable.
Ideally, you have experience in common procedures for the use of certificates in cloud and on-prem container solutions, including their interfaces for certificate distribution, as well as in the operation of HSM components.
You are characterised by a very strong ability to analyse and find creative solutions. In addition, you have strong communication skills and flexibility in terms of content, while you also have strong networked and strategic thinking as well as conceptual skills and the ability to persuade.
You communicate confidently in German, our business language, both verbally and in writing. A good command of English complements your profile.
