Your tasks include

As part of our team, you will support us in many exciting areas: 

  • IT management consulting, for example with regard to IT strategy, IT operational organisation, IT architecture, IT consolidation, establishment of IT cooperation and IT professionalisation 
  • Conception and support of innovative projects at the interface between IT and organisation in the context of e-government and digitalisation 
  • Conception and moderation of workshops and events 
  • Scope for independent conceptualisation and further development of consulting approaches in the above-mentioned subject areas

What you bring with you

For this varied position you will have: 

  • A degree in the STEM field, economics, administrative sciences or another comparable interdisciplinary degree programme (preferably a diploma/master's degree) 
  • Professional experience in the range of tasks described - preferably in a municipal environment 
  • Experience with common IT standards, technologies, methods and notations as well as sound experience in IT project management and agile methods, such as Scrum or similar. 
  • Experience in the development of IT strategies including IT sourcing concepts 
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and IT operations organisation/IT service management, system architectures, communication technologies and IT investment accounting 
  • a professional approach to complex issues and a high level of willingness to play an active role in shaping the operational project business without losing strategic vision 
  • emphatic and engaging demeanour as well as customer and service orientation 
  • Commitment, willingness to learn, conceptual thinking and judgement as well as strong communication skills (verbal and written) 
  • Enthusiasm for shaping change in public administration
