Senior Software Developer (Python)

Your contribution

You develop Data-intensive backend systems with Python and work on productive solutions with a direct impact on planning, production and the reduction of food waste. No classic CRUD routine, but responsibility for substance and impact.

In concrete terms, this means:

• Development and further development of the Python backends
• Design, operation and further development of REST APIs
• Development and maintenance of ETL pipelines
• Modelling and optimisation of PostgreSQL-Databases
• Analysing and debugging complex data flows

Code reviews and collaboration on architectural decisions

Your qualifications - what you bring to the table

Must-have

• Several years of experience in Python (3+ years, ideal 5+)
• Very good backend understanding
• SQL / PostgreSQL
• Experience with ETL / Data processing
• Git, Merge Requests, CI/CD
• German C1 (basic language skills), English B1 (advanced language skills)

Nice-to-have

• Django / ORM, SQLAlchemy
• Performance optimisation
• Tests (pytest)
• TypeScript experience (frontend)

Your perspective
