Job description

For our capital city office, we are looking for students for a position as a working student in the area of "Event & Project Management" as soon as possible. As a working student, you will support our event management team in the conception, planning and implementation of various event formats at the interface of science, politics and business. The events address different target groups, such as pupils, students, scientists, as well as representatives of the IT industry and politics. You can expect varied but also challenging tasks in the areas of event and project management, communication, network development and maintenance, (online) event management and research.

What you can expect from us

The working hours are 16-20h/week. The position is remunerated at €16.50/hour for BA students and €17.50/hour for those who have already completed a university degree (Bachelor) or equivalent professional experience. The application deadline is 31 October 2025 and the position is to be filled as soon as possible.

Your tasks include

Support in the conception, organisation & implementation of various events with a focus on digitalisation

Independent project management of smaller work packages

Sponsor acquisition & support as well as marketing/PR of the event

Participant management & communication

Writing texts, messages and event announcements

Support for PR and communication measures (online and offline) - especially social media

Content maintenance of the project websites

What you bring with you

You are passionate about good events, even outside of classic formats.

Ideally, you have some experience or internships in event management.

You work independently, are service-oriented and proactive, like to develop ideas and solutions, are well organised and flexible.

You enjoy working in teams, are very reliable and have good communication skills.

You are interested in digitalisation topics and enjoy organisational as well as content-related activities at the interface of digitalisation, sustainability, politics and science.
