#TWIN: Mentoring from one female entrepreneur to another
Since 2001, the Käte Ahlmann Foundation has been committed to greater equality of opportunity and female entrepreneurship in Germany. Named after Käte Ahlmann, one of Germany's first significant female entrepreneurs and co-founder of today's Association of Female Entrepreneurs in Germany, the foundation supports female entrepreneurs through networking, exchange of experience and practical support on an equal footing.
With the TWIN Mentoring Programme – Two Women Win The foundation has been supporting self-employed women and female entrepreneurs who want to develop their businesses for over 25 years. More than 200 experienced female entrepreneurs are involved nationwide as volunteers, acting as mentors and providing support on topics such as growth, strategy, positioning, customer acquisition, and leadership.
The programme is supplemented by networking and further training formats such as round tables, digital exchange formats and the TWINCamp.
