User Experience Design is a transdisciplinary degree programme. It combines design, technology and society - with the aim of creating holistic experiences for a digitally supported, humane world. In doing so, we consider all the possibilities of digital support - be it through screen-based media, smart networked objects or intelligent spaces. The degree programme is project-oriented - with a lot of personal responsibility and transdisciplinary support.
The programme teaches skills in strategy and concept development, user research, iterative design, prototyping as well as interaction and interface design. One focus is on the question of how new technologies - such as artificial intelligence - are changing design practice and understanding and what opportunities and challenges are associated with this.
The programme comprises seven semesters, including a practical phase and a research-related final project leading to the Bachelor's thesis.
