Your tasks include

  • Monitoring of supported IT services to ensure compliance with agreed system availability with proactive troubleshooting and prevention in a 24×7 operating model (operation centre/control centre)
  • Ensuring stable and uninterrupted system operation with a high level of protection
  • Implementation of best practice guidelines and execution of playbooks in the area of responsibility
  • Implementation of change management for the software and hardware systems used
  • Documenting faults and forwarding them to the relevant IT support teams

What you bring with you

  • Successfully completed IT training, e.g. as an IT specialist, alternatively professional experience in the above-mentioned field or lateral entry
  • First professional experience in securing complex IT infrastructures as well as in the provision and operation of Linux systems
  • Basic knowledge of monitoring tools and their use in heterogeneous infrastructures
  • Ideally expertise in the use of automation and IaC tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
  • Experience in regulated environments and with corresponding certifications (e.g. ISO 27001, BSI C5 or similar) desirable
  • Team spirit, open-mindedness towards new technologies and projects and enjoyment of using open source tools
