As an IT Governance Specialist (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the conceptual development and ensuring compliance with the defined IT processes in the Technology and Digitalisation department. In the future, you will take on the role of deputy head of department.

  • Working hours: full-time 38 hours per week and flexitime within the framework of time recording

Your tasks include

  • Regulatory and compliance: assessing, translating, monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. MaGo, DORA)
  • Process development and optimisation: analysis, design and documentation of IT processes in accordance with best practices (e.g. ITIL, COBIT)
  • Controls and monitoring: implementation and review of internal control systems (ICS)
  • Reporting: Creation of regular reports and KPIs for control and tracking purposes
  • IT strategy: Support in the development and implementation of the IT strategy
  • Consultancy: Advising management and specialist departments on IT governance issues
  • Project: Initiation and support of important IT projects
  • Communication: Communication of complex IT governance/regulatory topics

What you bring with you

  • Degree with a focus on information technology or business administration or a comparable subject area
  • At least 2 years of professional experience, ideally in an insurance/banking or consulting environment
  • Strong communication skills and persuasiveness at various hierarchical levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Business fluent German language skills (min. C1) and good
  • English language skills (min. B2)
  • The following desirable skills: Experience in working with regulatory requirements. In-depth knowledge of IT process management and IT governance frameworks. Knowledge of modern IT architectures and their strategic orientation
    Experience with common IT management tools and platforms. We will be happy to retrain individual skills as required
