We are looking for a full-time position (40 hours/week) at the earliest possible date
a DevOps Engineer Software Platform (m/f/d)
at the Frankfurt am Main location.

The IT & Digital division is responsible for the technical implementation and ongoing operation of all software products at the DFB.

As a DevOps Engineer in the Enterprise Architecture team, you will actively shape the technological basis of company-wide systems and make a decisive contribution to the stability, scalability and further development of central applications.

You will be responsible for the development, operation and continuous optimisation of platform components. Through your work, you will ensure that our system landscape remains efficient, maintainable and future-proof - in line with the overarching principles of enterprise architecture.

Your tasks include

You develop, configure and operate central platform components such as IAM, CMS and DAM systems - always with a view to scalability, maintainability and automation
You design software modules within the framework of the given architectural principles and implement them in a structured and efficient manner
You integrate, test and deploy software automatically and manually to ensure stable delivery in all environments
You create and maintain technical documentation, extract requirements from existing code (reverse engineering) and contribute to continuous knowledge assurance
You provide support with incidents, systematically analyse bugs and find sustainable solutions
You monitor productive systems with tools such as Grafana or log file analyses and ensure observability using suitable metrics (e.g. Prometheus)

What you bring with you

Completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification
In-depth knowledge of modern software engineering practices, software modernisation
Technological focus: Java, Jakarta EE, Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes, Keycloak, Typo3
Experience in software development and software operation
Experience in dealing with incidents and reverse engineering
Experience in monitoring software in production and implementing observability
Strong oral and written communication skills in German (at least C2) and English
