Your tasks include

You analyse and monitor our systems, uncover vulnerabilities and develop security strategies to protect our company from attacks
You monitor and analyse our systems and networks to identify threats, security gaps and vulnerabilities
You are responsible for the implementation and operation of all IT and network security systems, including firewalls, security gateways, proxies, IPS, PKI, SIEM, EDR/XD
You assess the risks and impact of threats to our IT infrastructure, including through SAST and DAST analyses, as well as coordinating external penetration tests
You install new and established security software, monitor and manage it
You develop and implement security measures, strategies and policies to protect our computer systems and networks
In your work, you will use state-of-the-art security tools and also integrate security solutions into our CI/CD infrastructure.
You will also train colleagues and ensure a high level of safety awareness within the company.

What you bring with you

Completed IT studies or training or comparable professional experience
In-depth experience in the field of security engineering (OWASP, network security, cloud security (AWS), SOC and data loss prevention strategies)
In-depth understanding of Linux, network and system architecture, operating systems, proxies, VPNs, WAN, cloud infrastructures, software containers, firewalls, encryption, viruses and malware as well as attack methods
Knowledge of Python and preferably other script and/or shell programming languages
Experience with standards and certifications such as ISO27001, BSI basic protection, GDPR.
Communication skills, ability to work in a team, consulting skills and a desire to collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment
Business fluent German and fluent English
Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) are not a prerequisite, but they certainly impress us.
