For our company Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH in Regensburg we are looking for you as Development Engineer FPGA/VHDL for Power Electronic Converters (m/f/d).

What you can expect from us

  • You develop modular and reusable VHDL code for the control and communication of power electronic converters
  • You test your specially developed modules using simulation, hardware and also hardware in the loop
  • You create documentation and IP cores
  • You work together with colleagues from the tools, backend, frontend, control and embedded systems departments
  • You work with modern lifecycle management and CI/CD tools

What you bring with you

  • You have a university degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • You have more than 5 years of professional experience and a sound knowledge of VHDL design
  • You have experience in testing VHDL code, including simulation tools such as ModelSim or comparable tools
  • You have a good understanding of the use of Vivado Design Suite, MATLAB/Simulink Cosimulation or XSG
  • Experience with power electronic topologies and hardware-in-the-loop experience is desirable
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken, round off your profile
