What you can expect from us

Play an active role in shaping the future of our cloud platform! As a Cloud Architect (f/m/d), you will play a key role in a large, scaled, agile project. You will define architecture guidelines, further develop the platform architecture and ensure a secure and efficient continuous delivery pipeline.

Your tasks include

  • Cloud technology consultingYou advise and support cloud projects in the selection of the optimal cloud technology, which is individually tailored to the respective use case in order to enable innovative and customised solutions.
  • Architecture assessmentYou evaluate architecture requests for cloud projects and help find solutions to create sustainable and future-proof IT architectures.
  • Cloud strategy developmentYou will support the further development of DekaBank's cloud strategy in order to drive digital transformation and competitiveness.
  • Best Practices & GuidelinesYou will develop guidelines and best practices for DekaBank's cloud projects to promote efficiency, security and standardisation.
  • Hybrid architecture expertiseYou know the capabilities and limitations of different (hybrid) architecture patterns for deploying applications in the cloud in order to identify optimal deployment options.

What you bring with you

  • A degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in cloud projects, ideally in architecture management and in regulated environments, especially in the banking sector.
  • Very good knowledge of common IT security standards and concepts, both for on-premise and for the cloud, such as ISO 2700x, BSI 200-x, C5 catalogue, DevSecOps, Zero Trust, NIST CSF or MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Experience in working with external service providers and in managing providers.
  • An independent and structured way of working that enables you to handle even complex tasks efficiently.
  • A high level of problem-solving ability and analytical thinking, which you use to tackle challenges in a targeted manner.
