Your tasks include

Analysing and evaluating alerts: As the first line of defence for the Security Operations Center, you will analyse, document and evaluate alerts received in our high security area. You communicate the results directly to our customers and ensure that information is passed on quickly and clearly.
Escalation and collaboration: You escalate serious incidents to the relevant Level 2 teams to ensure a quick and effective resolution. You actively support the Level 2 team in incident response cases.
Knowledge sharing and further development: By contributing to lessons learnt, you contribute to knowledge sharing within the team and support the continuous improvement of our processes and safety strategies.

What you bring with you

You have completed a qualifying apprenticeship, e.g. as an IT specialist for system integration, IT system administrator, IT administrator or comparable qualification and experience in IT / EDP.
You also have relevant professional experience in the IT sector and have experience of working in a ticket system.
Ideally, you have some experience in the areas of Windows event logs, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, EDR and in analysing IT security events.
You work independently, are customer- and team-orientated and have a convincing analytical understanding.
You are open to shift work.
You enjoy solving complex tasks, master challenges both independently and as part of a team and, last but not least, impress with your excellent communication skills in German and English.
