Engineer* Site Reliability

  • DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH, Am DFS-Campus, Langen (Hesse)

Job description

This is our best-known task: the safe and precise organization of air traffic in Germany. Experienced, excellently trained air traffic controllers are responsible for this. As an employer, however, we have an even broader base - this is underlined by the fact that we have over 5,600 employees. At our headquarters, branches and tower sites, we offer attractive career prospects to newcomers and professionals from many areas. With people who love their job and in an environment that feels like a family. Ready to start?

Tower branch Leipzig/Halle - a specialty in our portfolio: Classic tower business is supplemented by the Remote Tower Control Center, where some of our 90-plus employees monitor air traffic from Erfurt and Saarbrücken. Another extra: as a cargo hub, Leipzig is also active at night.

The safety of German air traffic depends to a large extent on perfectly functioning technology. That is why the reliability and constant availability of our air traffic control systems, communication facilities and transmission paths have the highest priority.
We are looking for you for our location in Leipzig/Halle!

As an Engineer* Site Reliability, you will be part of a highly motivated cross-site team of IT specialists* and engineers*, use your knowledge to shape the future-oriented transformation of DFS and contribute your expertise to the data center platform currently under construction or associated cloud services.

In addition, together with the local team at Leipzig Tower, you will independently perform tasks in the commissioning of existing technical air traffic control systems so that the results of your work can be used immediately. Together with your colleagues*, you will contribute to maintaining the safety, reliability and availability of these systems independently and with a high level of quality awareness.

Give your future the right altitude. With plenty of creative freedom in a company that wants to set standards in air traffic control: personally, technically, sustainably.

We look forward to receiving your application.
