Job description

  • Operation and further development of the digital workplace, in particular the Süwag client and client applications
  • Provision and support of client software packages and the tools for the software provisioning process
  • Ensure that all safety-relevant regulations, in particular environmental protection and occupational safety, are complied with
  • Supporting other IT departments in the implementation of projects and the operation of IT services
  • Development of proposals and measures to improve work processes and IT services
  • Specialist contact for service providers in the field of workplace software
  • Training of trainees, apprentices and interns
  • Taking over project management and responsibility for requirements as part of the IT requirements management process
  • Implementation of ITSM processes to ensure service levels in the Workplace Software division
  • Contact for external bodies for fault clearance
  • Knowledge and implementation of IT security requirements
  • Support and advice for users and specialist departments

You have that certain something when you:

  • have a degree in a job-specific field (e.g. computer science or industrial engineering) or a comparable professional qualification with additional technical qualifications and many years of experience in the field.
  • have several years of practical experience in the IT field of the area of responsibility.
  • have a sound knowledge of the IT services and products used in the company as well as the system landscape.
  • have in-depth knowledge of current IT solutions, architectures and best practices in your area of expertise.
  • focus on your advisory skills, didactic abilities and customer-oriented behavior.

  • have in-depth knowledge of data protection law and relevant IT security requirements and security concepts.
