You will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the information provided using state-of-the-art analysis methods. The aim is to categorise the information in a central intelligence situation picture and to create comprehensive situation reports in order to identify critical developments in the security situation in other countries at an early stage. With your analytical skills, you will categorise reconnaissance results in an overall situation picture and ensure the security and effectiveness of military operations. You will also contribute to the defence and protection of the Bundeswehr at home and abroad against forces that pose a threat to security. Possible specialisations are Situation management, analysis, information management and secret protection.

Your tasks include

You use the information provided and analyse it using state-of-the-art analysis procedures and methods to classify it in a central intelligence picture.
You will process and analyse the situation in terms of information requirements and reconnaissance management and help to protect Bundeswehr facilities from espionage and sabotage attempts and support military operations.
You create the basis for a comprehensive overview of the situation in other countries for the political and military leadership and thus point out crisis developments at an early stage.
You ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and contribute to the defence and protection of the Bundeswehr at home and abroad against attacks by security-threatening forces.

What you bring with you

You are at least 17 years old.
You are prepared to work nationwide.
You may be deployed abroad.
You are ambitious and highly motivated.
Secondary school leaving certificate and training or intermediate school leaving certificate are available.
You have German citizenship.
You swear to serve Germany faithfully.
