  • 38.7 hours per week (full-time), flexitime from 5am to 10pm, up to 80% remote working

Your tasks include

  • Administration, adaptation and further development of PHP scripts for the automation and support of network management processes
  • Administration, operation and further development of network management tools (e.g. ORION, NEDI, NOM, ISE) including support for the connected system landscape.
  • Ensuring stable operation through updates, analysis and troubleshooting of faults, as well as processing complex tickets in consultation with manufacturers.
  • Taking over 1st and 2nd level support, as well as advising specialist departments and customers on the implemented procedures.
  • Creation and maintenance of documentation, reports, and process descriptions according to ITSM/ITIL standards, utilising ITSM and ARIS workflows.
  • Analysis, planning and implementation of smaller projects, including effort estimation, scheduling, introduction and operational documentation

What you bring with you

  • Studying Computer Science/Business Informatics or a comparable qualification with relevant practical experience
  • Several years of experience in the operation and administration of network management or monitoring systems
  • Sound knowledge of PHP as well as experience in developing and maintaining PHP scripts and in relational databases, plus practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience in IT operations and with common ITSM/ITIL processes
    Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working, as well as the ability to take on tasks independently after a short period of familiarisation.
  • Willingness to undergo a security vetting process in accordance with the Hamburg Security Vetting and Secrecy Act (HmbSÜGG)
