Job description

As a (Junior) IT Security Consultant (f/m/d), you will work with us to set sail for a secure digital future. You will protect our customers' data streams, identify threats at an early stage and develop effective defence strategies - so that companies stay safely on course even in turbulent times. Whether cyber security, digital forensics or incident response - with your expertise, you will ensure that our clients can face digital change with confidence.

Your tasks include

Recognising and defending against cyber threats: You analyse cyber attacks, identify attack patterns and develop targeted countermeasures. With your intuition for IT risks, you will navigate through uncharted waters and protect sensitive data from unauthorised access.

Secure and analyse digital traces: In the area of forensics, you and your colleagues investigate digital traces. You secure data, recover deleted information and uncover digital evidence of possible white-collar crime.

Mastering security incidents: Together with your team, you will respond to security incidents and provide support in taking initial and countermeasures. For example, you will support our customers in setting up robust incident response processes following a hacking attack.

Caution instead of indulgence: In dialogue with our clients, you develop and refine security strategies, carry out risk analyses and thus strengthen their resilience to future threats. Your strategy is early detection, so that security not only reacts, but thinks ahead.

organisations into calm waters: You will support the establishment of security organisations, develop protection concepts and ensure that security requirements are implemented in daily practice - all in the interests of a secure and future-proof IT infrastructure.
Limitless development: learn from experienced colleagues and grow beyond yourself.

What you bring with you

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics, natural sciences related to IT or a comparable subject area.
  • From your studies into practice: You now want to use your knowledge to improve digital security and solve problems with your team.
First practical experience ideally through internships or working student activities in areas such as IT security, system administration, digital forensics or evidence & disclosure management.
  • Technical expertise that gets you ahead: You are familiar with IT infrastructures - from networks and client/server systems to databases and applications. You are familiar with terms such as incident response, ethical hacking and intrusion detection, which arouse your curiosity.
  • Curiosity that broadens your horizons: You are solution-orientated, question existing processes and enjoy looking for innovative ways to master complex challenges.
  • Language skills: You communicate confidently in German (C1) and English (B2) and can convey complex topics in an understandable and targeted manner.
  • Flexibility and work-life balance: You like to be actively involved in project teams and you find it easy to adapt to new circumstances. At the same time, we support you with flexible working models that allow you to harmonise your professional and private life.
