We work for and with our customers from various industries in all fixed and mobile network areas (radio, transport, core) on network topics as well as in the BSS and OSS environment. With our international Competence Centre 5G & IoT, we advise our customers from the planning and implementation to the operation of communication networks. We are looking for you, a well-connected expert (m/f/x), to help us develop our established cloud-native 5G private network solutions and create customised 5G use cases and technology solutions for our customers.-VW1

Your mission

Technical consulting for customers with regard to the use of private/public 5G and industry-specific use cases. Analysing and improving specialist processes and developing solution concepts
Support in building customer relationships and managing the customer interface
Support of projects and customer initiatives as Solution Architect, Requirement Engineer
Participation in quotation teams (support for the technical preparation of quotations, presentation of alternative solutions, preparation of cost estimates)
Support of 5G Private Networks implementation projects (plan, build, run), as well as translation of customer requirements into use cases, their development and implementation
(Partial) responsibility for the implementation of technical projects (agile and classic) within budget, quality and time, especially for telco processes and applications, network/IT modernisation and integration
Support and management of technical workshops and interviews with customers at department head level as well as documentation of results

Your tasks include

Your skillset

Completed studies (university/university of applied sciences) in computer science, business informatics, engineering or natural sciences or comparable professional training
Several years of experience as a consultant or as an internal expert (in project, process or IT management) in the telecommunications industry and private 5G
Several years of experience in mobile communications and knowledge in at least two other specialist areas (e.g. sales, customer service or order management, rollout, OSS IT or fixed network technology)
Knowledge of several industries, e.g. automotive, manufacturing, logistics, etc.
Strong presentation and moderation skills at management level
Mobility readiness for customer projects
Very good language skills in German and English
