We, that is 8com GmbH & Co. KG, based in Neustadt an der Weinstraße - in the heart of the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. 8com has been an established cyber security partner for companies and public authorities since 2004. In our Security Operations Center, we offer our customers numerous managed security services such as Vulnerability Management, Security Monitoring, Threat Hunting or Digital Forensics & Incident Response. 8com's portfolio also includes penetration tests and security awareness services (employee sensitization). Since 2021, we have been certified for the core area of SOC in accordance with BSI basic protection.

What you can expect

After a thorough induction period of at least 3 months in the SOC with the respective expert teams and in service management, you will start your career with us

You advise our customers and translate the complex customer requirements for the technical implementation of our SOC services

You will also investigate questions relating to technical solutions such as EDR/XDR, SIEM and VM in test environments

In this context, you will present the technical solutions and their functions in workshops and presentations

You create the concepts, tender documents, moderate and conduct customer workshops

You also manage the sales process as a consultant and ensure technical implementation
