We are looking for a full-time position as soon as possible
a Senior Project Manager Sports IT (m/f/d) for our IT Cluster Sport in the IT & Digital division at the Frankfurt am Main location.

The IT-Cluster Sport bundles all digital and analytics products for German professional football and performance-orientated youth football. Our product portfolio includes all digital products for performance and administration topics for various stakeholders (national teams, match operations for professional and performance-orientated youth competitions, talent development, coach training, etc.).
As a Senior Project Manager Sports IT (m/f/d) in the Sports Cluster, you will shape the product strategy of the Sports IT Cluster and ensure that our digital products deliver tangible added value for competitive football.

a Senior Project Manager Sports IT (m/f/d) for our IT Cluster Sport in the IT & Digital division at the Frankfurt am Main location.

Your tasks include

Development and continuous optimisation of a product and data strategy for digital and data analytics solutions in competitive football
Communicating the product strategy with internal stakeholders, implementation partners and management
Responsibility for project standards and project management for strategic projects
Creation of reports and presentations
Development and establishment of objectively measurable quality assurance for all products and projects
Development of decision papers on the strategic orientation of the IT Cluster Sport in close coordination with stakeholders & management
Continuous market analysis for digital services and identification of trends

What you bring with you

Successfully completed studies in the field of business administration, (business) informatics, MINT degree with additional qualification (e.g. MBA), sports management or similar; doctorate desirable
Relevant experience in IT project management or IT consulting
Relevant experience in a digital context, in particular a very good understanding of modern technologies (cloud services, data platforms, applications, portals, etc.)
Exceptional analytical thinking skills
High degree of independence and ability to work independently on complex issues
Ability to communicate analysis results and recommendations clearly and concisely
Ability to work in a team and to co-operate effectively with various specialist departments
High willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods
Creativity and innovative ability in the development of new analytical approaches and solutions
Business fluent in German and English
Experience in (competitive) sport is desirable
