Your mission

  • Development of customised applications, modules and functions to meet specific customer requirements as well as identification and optimisation of existing solutions to increase efficiency
  • Application of programming languages, especially JavaScript, for the development of scripts, business rules, client scripts and UI policies
  • Use of middleware and integration solutions to ensure seamless communication between different systems and to implement user feedback in development work
  • Creating user-friendly interfaces and implementing responsive designs to ensure a positive user experience on different devices
  • Identify and resolve technical issues within ServiceNow applications and adhere to best practices and standards to ensure maintainability and scalability of solutions
  • Collaboration with project teams, documentation of developed solutions and training of new team members as well as continuous training in new functions and technologies of ServiceNow

Your tasks include

Your skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of the ServiceNow architecture, modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM) and data models as well as basic knowledge of SQL for data analyses
  • Mastery of ServiceNow development tools (Studio, Scoped Applications, Update Sets) and strong knowledge of JavaScript and scripting concepts such as Scripted REST APIs, Business Rules and Client Scripts
  • Experience in the implementation and use of REST and SOAP APIs as well as knowledge of integration solutions for data exchange between ServiceNow and other systems
    Understanding of the principles of user interfaces and user experience as well as experience in customising forms, lists and dashboards
  • Ability to diagnose errors in scripts, perform tests (unit and integration) and create and maintain technical documentation, apply agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and commitment to ongoing training in new ServiceNow functions
  • As a structured team player (f/m/x) with enormous initiative, you have strong communication skills as well as business fluent German and English.
