Your tasks include

  • Responsibility for the architecture for automation solutions in equipment construction for the automation of production processes
  • Management of software development, preparation of requirements analysis, design of software architecture, review and support integration, testing and quality assurance
  • Definition of the basis for software integration and connection to interfaces of systems and peripheral devices
  • Coordination and harmonisation with neighbouring development fields and further development of the software framework
  • Responsibility for the quality and consistency of the software as well as the organisation of training courses

What you bring with you

  • Completed studies in automation technology, computer science, technical computer science or comparable
  • Extensive programming experience, especially of PLC controls, as well as knowledge of WINCC, PLC software tools and bus systems, measuring systems, Labview, etc.
  • Good knowledge of software architectures
  • Experience in software architecture for operating equipment, especially with networked, fully automated plants and systems
  • Good knowledge of German and English as well as willingness to travel approx. 10%
