What you can expect from us

Operation & Support: You will analyse and rectify errors (troubleshooting) in productive and non-productive environments and ensure stable, smooth operation.
Backup, recovery & DR concepts: You will develop and implement robust backup, recovery and disaster recovery strategies for highly available database systems.
Performance optimisation: You will analyse existing database structures and develop innovative solutions to optimise queries, processes and storage strategies - in particular using the possibilities of Oracle Exadata.
Agile collaboration: You work closely with development teams, product owners and other stakeholders and actively contribute your expertise to agile projects.
Interface management: They liaise closely with specialist departments and other IT units to ensure the seamless integration of database solutions into the existing system landscape.

What you bring with you

You have in-depth knowledge of optimising Oracle databases, especially when dealing with large amounts of data, and have a deep understanding of performance tuning, storage strategies and Oracle Exadata.
You have extensive experience in the use of scripting languages, such as Bash, to automate and support database operation.
You have knowledge of job control and scheduling tools such as Automic Workload Automation (AWA) or TWS (Maestro).
They are characterised by curiosity, a solution-oriented approach and a high level of motivation to tackle technical challenges in a structured and creative way.
With courage, perseverance and team spirit, you proactively drive forward technical developments and combine established best practices with your own ideas for continuous improvement.
